In a previous blog Foods That Promote Sleep we shared how a sweet snack before bed time and/or after a night wakening may actually be a good thing. Rather than rolling around in bed trying unsuccessfully to fall back asleep, get up and get some super sleep foods into your belly. Here we endeavor to serve you up some guilt-free midnight snacks.
Remember the goal is to eat foods that are rich in vitamin B6 and/or minerals such as calcium and magnesium to get you back to sleep faster. The wonderful sleep hormones such as melatonin and serotonin can be released when there is enough calcium, magnesium and vitamin B6 being absorbed from your food.
Take your pick from this list...
